Christie Valenzona

Every leader has a story—and every story carries meaning, purpose, and the potential for impact. I care deeply about supporting innovative and diverse leaders as they grow in self-awareness, confidence, and purpose. I’m passionate about helping people understand their relational strengths, lean into their unique gifts, and lead with authenticity. My coaching style is collaborative, grounded, and deeply human, creating environments where leaders can flourish—professionally, personally, and within their communities.

My broader career has spanned leadership roles in sales and management in both nonprofit and corporate settings. Those experiences shaped, and continue to influence, how I think about team and individual development, communication, sales, and organizational growth. Additionally, I’ve served on Young Life’s Global Field Development team and helped design and launch the organization’s first internal leadership coaching program. Through that work, I’ve coached more than 600 U.S. staff, contributed to supervisor and leadership curriculum, and facilitated national symposiums and training experiences. These opportunities strengthened my belief that when leaders grow in clarity and confidence, their teams—and their organizations—transform.

I hold an Associate Certified Coach credential through the International Coaching Federation and have completed additional certifications with CoachU, The McKinnon Leadership Institute, and The Leadership Circle.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me at the beach or hiking trails in Southern California with my husband, Guy, our two teenage daughters, Avery and Bailey, and our goldendoodle, Mochi—where life stays full, fun, and joyfully unpredictable.
