Brad Sytsma

Leadership begins with how we authentically engage with the people we serve. Too often, leaders try to imitate someone they admire instead of leading as the best, truest version of themselves. My work is helping leaders uncover their unique leadership wiring—and lead from the strongest, most grounded version of who they already are. Francis Hesselbein said it well: “Leadership is a matter of how to be, not how to do.” As a coach who’s spent years in leadership myself, I partner with leaders to help them lead from their “being”—so they can show up with more energy, clarity, and confidence. When leaders get energized, their teams feel it, and great things start to happen.

My leadership and coaching experience spans nearly 30 years across nonprofit and corporate settings—leading teams, shaping culture, and navigating big transitions. I bring practical insight, honesty, and a bit of playfulness to the work. Whether I’m coaching a seasoned CEO, someone stepping into leadership for the first time, or an executive team wrestling with tough decisions, I love helping people move forward with fresh passion and creativity.

With certifications from the International Coaching Federation, the Leadership Circle Profile, and the Wagner Enneagram Personality Styles Scales, I help leaders deepen their self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and create lasting impact.

Outside of work, I love connecting with my wife, Amy, and our adult kids—Abby, Ben, and Noah. I’m a football fan, a competitive tennis player, and someone who enjoys the moments that bring people together.
